Research
Many of the Group’s research contributions have proved of benefit to Australia, such as the development of the national geoid model, AUSGeoid98, the Western Australian STATEFIX geodetic to implement the Geocentric Datum of Australia.
Research in the Group has also resulted in a spin-off company, Scanalyse, whose MillMapper product won the 2007 WA Inventor of the Year Award.
